EG Calc is free software that can be used for many mathematical calculations e.g. standard, scientific, programming based, convertor, arbitrary precision etc.
1) Standard: This is a simple basic mode with Standard (+,-,x,/, square, square root etc).
2) Scientific: This mode has additional functions beyond the addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication with constants (mathematical & physical) and units. The Additional functions, constants and units are listed below.
There are also Miscellaneous Functions, Constants and units are added in this mode.
3) Convertor: This mode can be used to convert between commonly used units.
4) Programmer: This mode can be used for calculations based on number system like binary, octal, decimal and hexadecimal. You can easily get conversion among binary, octal, decimal and hex. Also there are some logical functions.
5) Arbitrary Precision: This mode can be used for big numbers or for multiple precision. The precision can be defined in two ways. The one is output precision which has limit from 0 to 9999 in this mode and other is precision in digits which has limit from 0 to 34996. When we set the output precision the other is set automatically. Almost functions are covered in this mode that we have discussed in earlier modes and also there are some Miscellaneous function.
